She just asked him to do one thing
21 year old ISIS fighter Ali Saqr, killed his own mother, Lena al-Qasem, 45, in Raqqa, Syria, the unofficial capital of the Islamic State.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) and the activist group Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently eyewitnesses reported that Ali Saqr shot her outside the post office where she worked, in front of hundreds of people.
IS takes brutal action against anyone who dares speak out against the group. Often the punishment is death.
At least 420 members of the Islamic State (IS, ISIS or Daesh) have been killed by their own people during the last 18 months.
More than 30,000 foreign fighters have joined ISIS now from 100 countries. This is what they find: cruelty, inhumanity, injustice.
Before the execution, Ali Saqr’s mother had urged him to leave the city with her before the US-led military coalition would wipe out ISIS. He then reported the incident to his commanders who ordered him to kill her.
It is another crime against the Qur’an and its message, as well as the exemplary life of the Prophet Muhammad. ISIS does not recognize the true meaning of Islam, which is peace and tolerance. A fatwa by 126 high-ranking scholars against the Islamic State and its inhuman and un-Islamic methods has been issued.
