He predicted the terror attacks in Europe
Professor Peter Neumann is one of the best experts on IS/ISIS/Daesh. The director of the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation at King’s College in London told GLOBALO long before the attacks of ISIS in Paris (November 13, 2015) and in Brussels (March 22nd, 2016) as early as October 2015, predicting those terror acts:
1. 30,000 foreign fighters have joined ISIS now from 100 countries. 60 percent from Middle Eastern states, 20 percent from Western Europe and 15 to 20 percent from the former USSR countries.
2. I am expecting a new wave of terror by ISIS in Europe– it has not started yet, as the focus of the fight is to win in Syria and Iraq for now.
3.My fear is, it will push the far-right-wing extremists and harm the Muslim population in the West. This is the real strategic threat for our democracies and values, a radicalization.
4.Needed now is an overall “aggressive containment strategy” by the U.S. and Europe, Asia and the moderate Arab states.
