Trump is a hard and excellent fighter to the very end and last minute.
The process of 10 steps for the impeachment of bizarre US president Donald Trump is complicated in the House of Representatives and finally a vote of two third of all senators is needed at the very end. A mission impossible for now.
GLOBALO spoke with a Washington insider about the procedure in 2018.
Here are his thoughts, we may share with our readers:
Still, it is totally unclear what comes out of the research of the Special Council Robert Mueller in 2018.
The letter of his Appointment as Special Council to investigate Russian Interference with the 2016 Presidential Elections from May 2017 gives Mueller a very broad approach for his research, including “any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump; and any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation.“ He can look for any Russian link of people, not only government officials, “associated with the campaign and as well things popping up during his investigation“, including all family members.
Trump has two Achilles heels, which may cause the end of his presidency in 2018 or later.
Number 1:
Any connections he had with Russians in business prior to his campaign. Mueller may check for any money-laundering issues (black money) or tax issues involved with any Russian who is associated with Trump or any of his family members in the past. Several Russians bought real estate. Many documents are now being checked. If there are wrong declarations where the money came from, problems arise.
When legendary FBI director Edgar Hoover wanted to neutralize master gangster Alfonse Capone in Chicago in the 1930th, he was attacking him at his Achilles Heel which was easier to document than any involvement in murders: the tax issues. Capone had made $ 100 million (equal to now $ 1,2bn) in 1927. The federal prosecutors worked for years to build a case against „Scarface“ and at the end could only pin charges of tax evasion. It was a years-long inquiry into his business practices. The FBI worked with the Treasury Department and the Internal Revenue Service to dig up dirt until they found enough. He sentenced ten yeas in prison for not paying tax and black money.
Number 2:
In less than one year the mid-term elections will take place November 6th. All 435 seats in the United States House of Representatives and 33 of the 100 seats in the United States Senate will be contested. 39 state and territorial governorships and numerous other state and local elections will also be contested.
The Republicans may loose their control in the Senate, locking Trump into the White House. Usually the opposition party picks more votes than the party of the president in office. The outlook for the Republicans is grim. According to RealClearPolitics the Democrats lead average by 13 points.
The GOP may revolt after a bloody November 2018 against Trump and he may be blocked in legislation.
Still, Trump is a hard and excellent fighter to the very end and last minute.
You never should under estimate his kick-boxing style when in deep trouble- just look how he emerged like a Sphinx after several bankruptcies in the past. He is like a cat with many lives.
My guess is:
He will resign when the water gets very, very hot in Washington after November 2018 with a big poster at the White House: “Mission Complete- in just 2 Years!“… And a speech “ I am the greatest of all US presidents- could finish my job in half term.”
