In Paris ISIS started a fresh wave of terror in Europe, claiming responsibility in a statement:
“It was a response to airstrikes and France remains a key target.”
“Eight brothers with suicide belts and assault rifles carried out the killings. A blessed attack … carried out by believers of the soldiers of the Caliphate.”
The attackers shouted “Allah akbar!” (Allah is great”)
Based on the training and terror-pool of no less than 6000 radicalized fighters from Western Europe in Syria and Iraq. In total 30,000 foreigners joined ISIS.
The attaks were carried out by at least 7 terrorists devided into three teams.
- In the evening hostages were taken in the Bataclan concert hall. It is just 200 meters away from the office of “Charlie Hebdo”, where terrorists had killed 11 journalists and a policeman on 7th January this year. One of the terrorist told their captives: “It’s the fault of Hollande, it’s the fault of your president, he should not have intervened in Syria”. Police stormed the hall. 112 people lost their lives that night.
- Terrorists shot on different locations at people dining. They attacked the bar La Belle Epuipe.14 died in Le Petit Cambodge, 12 more in a restaurant on the Rue Bichat and some on the Avenue de la Republic.

- Paris residents have been asked to stay indoors all night. Metro lines were closed.
- 1,500 military personnel are being deployed across the city.
- President Francois Hollande called the attackers “barbarians.” “We will lead the fight and we will be ruthless… When the terrorists are capable of doing such acts they must know that they will face a France very determined — a France united.”
- U.S. President Barack Obama offered condolences and assistance in the investigation. He said in a statement: “This is an attack not just on Paris, not just on the people on France, but an attack on all humanity and the universal values we share” and “an outrageous attempt to terrorize innocent civilians.”
- The Vatican has condemned the attacks as “mad terrorist violence.”
GLOBALO talked to a former head of a European intelligence agency. “This is the number one nightmare of all security teams. A Mumbai-2008-style-attack with ten or more terrorists on several soft, unprotected targets. It is very hard to prevent. Not so difficult for terrorists. They only need ten fighters, AK-47 rifles and some explosives.”
